Literature review

I met with Dr. Gibbons to talk about some approaches to my question. He suggested some readings for me to peruse. I narrowed down my question a bit after some of my reading. I need to finalize a question, but I'm feeling more confident in the direction.

I'm interested in seeing your question here. It sounds like you are looking at how emotional engagement relates to academic engagement? Is that what you mean in the previous post?

My question has evolved to look for the operational principles of storytelling. One wording of the question might be this:

How can the operational principles of storytelling that engage audiences be transferred to educational settings to help maintain students' engagement in deep learning?

It's not narrow enough yet, and for the purposes of this class, I'm moving to a different research question that I'm working on with another professor. But, I'm planning to keep on winnowing down the question until I have something workable.
